Taking a starting point with the traditional TS series of OD's, the Ninth Sky puts it's own stamp on Overdrive by offering a full dynamic range with a lot of headroom. Can be very transparent and direct as a great Booster for overall tone and solos, but will crank up and offers some sustain and can get pretty aggressive if pushed to do so.

Nineth Sky Overdrive
I use a variety of ODs and Dist on my board. Grown up on the TS sound I wanted to use another driver to broad the OD palette.
I need to stress that I don’t have that pedal today since it was stolen a few years back.
I didn’t have the chart for circuit board so didn’t bother to compare with TS.
The pedal is built like a tank and the soldering inside is well done.
Sound wise it’s great. Not too noisy and The impact of the pedal is firm. It does deliver what it promises to some extent but the transparency, in my point of view, is not a fact. No pedals that promises that do. Transparency is in fact the sound you get from connecting your guitar into a mix console or amp with clean sound. That’s transparency for you.
If your understanding of transparency is the effect is “joint” to clean sound it does that on low drive.
Used with clean amp it does the job as a TS. Just as I hoped for. Used on cranked amps it works
