Product Description

BearFoot is a collaboration between BJFelectronics and DonnerBox to produce some of Bjorn Juhls best designs in greater numbers and at lower prices. All BearFoot products are designed by Bjorn and produced by Donnerbox in the USA.

The Honey Bee OD is an overdrive pedal intended for use between a low-level instrument such as an electric guitar and an amplifier set for clean to moderate distortion. It is intended for very dynamic feel and also as a colouration pedal in pedal systems, where it can make a large amplifier appear smaller by reducing headroom and frequency response and it will work in most positions in complex pedal systems.

This very mild overdrive was inspired by an old Supro amp, there is special kind of warm mild overdrive that you can't find from any other amp (or pedal what so ever). truly living up to its name. the HBOD emulates a driven Fender Supro amp. Its now my 'always on' pedal for my cleans, that i cascade with my Wampler Plextortion for the heavier stuff. its a colouration that works for tone quest. enjoy!

Along with distortion pedals, I am also a fan of overdrives. After buying a lot of other overdrives, some really expensive ones as well, this Honey Bear gives a nice classic rock tone. It might be a tad transparent for some, but I find it reacts well to attacks. When you attack hard, the juicy crunchy overdrive kicks in. Wonderful...
