CLASSIC VIBE STRATOCASTER® ‘60s - 3TSB
The rough-and-tumble Classic Vibe Stratocaster ’60s evokes that musically adventurous decade, with a few modern features added. The alder body has a Three-color Sunburst; the ’60s-era vintage-tint gloss-maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets and a modern 9.5” radius. The thick tone comes from the alnico V single-coil pickups—quick attack with a bit more midrange force and a knockout bridge pickup. Custom staggered polepieces provide improved string-to-string balance.

The Squier Classic Vibe 60's is in my opinion , the best Squier guitar in the market to date. Squier has outdone themselves by making a masterpiece which i think is better than a MIM Fender Strat. I have tried MIA, MIM and MIJ strats, and I would say that the Classic Vibe comes close to the the American made strats, and even better than the Mexican strats.
The craftmanship on this guitar is awesome! the fretboard is great, probably the best fretboard in its price range. I love the neck, though I plan to sand out the lacquer as I prefer a smoother feel...that way, it would even look more like a John Mayer strat.
Im impressed with the sound which is also better than the stock of MIM's. The Pickups of this guitar give me the tone that Im looking for, Vintage Sound...I need not to change the pickups (at the moment), unless Klein S-5 becomes available in Singapore.
Overall, this is a guitar has the look and feel of the 60's strat. It looks like a combination of SRV and John Mayer strat. If ever I loose this guitar, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
I highly recommend this guitar.
