Like the original LP, the Epiphone is made with a mahogany back and mahogany neck which is set to the body for that classic sustain. The Standard Plus features a highly flamed Maple top reminiscent of LPs from the late 50s. The scale length (and subsequent string tension) duplicates the LP while the nut width is a fraction of an inch thinner than the contemporary LP. Trapezoid inlays, alnico humbuckers, tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece wrap it up.
