The GHS brand of strings are the ones I try to replace but couldn't, not that they are the ultimate standard when guitar strings are concerned but they simply contain the no-frills offering which is worth every cent. The good tones are there from the start, with an inherent brightness which isn't excessive to such an extent it becomes reliant. This is one of those feel good strings which has a reasonable good life under extensive use but it needs a wipe-down after play for that to happen. Thanks to SVG, the GHS is one of the most affordable, good strings for us keen guitarists.

I have used quite a few brands of guitar strings for my Stratocaster and would say that GHS Boomers gives me the tone that I look for. I play blues, rock and roll, and pop rock.
Its easy to bend and easy re-string and stays in tune more often than the other brands I used.
GHS Boomers also last more than its other brands counterparts, and for its price, its a steal.
