R2 Plus is a 2008 upgraded version of R2: visually upgraded with Flamed Maple Top.

Besides the new Flamed Maple Top, R2 Plus features all the advantages of R2: 100% made in Korea , Alder Body+Canadian Maple Neck, Swing BluesBreaker & HeartBreaker Alnico pickups, quality hardware like Wilkinson VS50II tremolo & Grover tuning keys, etc.

Body & Neck

“ Alder Body+Canadian Hard Maple Neck ” should be a stable combination in making bolt-on style guitars. Spoon Cut & Contoured Hill design will guarantee easier approach to the high frets. Both Maple and Indian Rosewood fingerboards are available. 

SWING BluesBreaker Std. + HeartBreaker Pickup Set (Alnico), Wilkinson VS50II-K Tremolo

BluesBreaker and HeartBreaker pickup feature quality materials like Alnico5 Magnet, fiber bobbins, German Silver plate, etc. The pickups cut through with a distinctive high end and midrange attack, sometimes heavy and sticky tone for Rockin' Sound.

Wilkinson VS50II-K is a true professional unit used by all the best guitarists, guitar companies, and guitar builders in the world. Stainless steel saddles offer reinforced sustain and bell-like clear tone. 

Grover Tuning Keys & GraphTech NuBone Nut

Like R2, R2 Plus is equipped with “all the time” stability, Grover Tuning Keys.

All SWING Electric Guitars & Basses are equipped with Graph Tech Nu-Bone Nuts. Compared to standard materials, you'll hear crystal clear bell-like high end, big open lows, and a noticeable increase in overall sustain.
