  1. Blistering Nitro

Posted by theguitaraddict on 6th Dec 2011

The Nitro would be seen as the more reserved sibling of the VR-Extreme, running on an Alnico 5 magnet but this is only a perceived restraint. The Nitro is a blistering pickup for general distortion work & its dynamics cover a broad range of voicings from blues-rock to extreme metal. The Alnico magnet pedigree means it sounds sweet with volume play, unlike a pickup with a very powerful magnet on board. It also translates into some workable cleans when the need arises. Great value for money & a nitrous tonal response indeed.

  2. AWESOME!

I just change my ESP m10 pick ups to this. The result= a real blast!
It make my lousy 300 odd guitar sound like a 1000 plus guitar... not only is the sound crisp and clear in the clean setting, it is also crisp and clear in the distortion setting, providing a tone that cannot be match by the previous pick ups by ESP. Tesla is sure a rising brand... and at this price, they are a steal...
