This is a fantastic singlecut deisgn by UNO, in the likes of the Les Paul outline but different in feel (dimensions) & tone. The Standard's neck is of the slim make, emulating Gibson's slim taper profile but only slimmer. The instrument's body is also thinner in depth, very much like ESP's Eclipse model than the Les Paul per se.
Tone wise, the Standard would appease distortion fans as individual notes remain defined under intense distortion. There are also some nice cleans to be had from the neck humbucker, all thanks to the TESLA brand name for keeping the tones very appealing. There isn't any Les Paul drone to be acquired here so be warned.
Many of us would doubt the QC due to the brand's debut here as well as its Indonesian origin but UNO (I've tried all models available at SV) keeps the standard in check & reputable so buying a lemon is highly unlikely based on the initial impressions.
