Loading... Please wait...Our newest Distortion pedal, this one is designed to emulate a JCM800. For comparison, the Plexidrive sounds like Bon-Scott era AC/DC, this pedal is more Back in Black era AC/DC tones through van halen, dokken, ratt, and all those amazing 80's rock "cranked Marshall" tones.
It now has an additional "presence" control if you need more clarity. Not to mention twice as much volume, AND a seperate switch so you can have a volume boost for stage use - get your solo out in front and not washed up behind the band! This volume is controlled by it's own knob. Same tone, more volume!
Updated circuitry in April 2008! Full 3 band eq, presence control, gain and volume controls. TONS of available volume.
3 band eq - they interact with each other JUST like the JCM800 controls too.
I've noticed that some guys like play their distortion pedals that emulate marshall tones THROUGH a marshall. Let's be honest - I can play a chorus pedal through a marshall and get a very "marshally" sounding chorus pedal... In my opinion this isn't a fair or accurate representation of a pedal. Because of this, I recorded a clip of the plexortion through my fender super twin, a hot rod deluxe, and a vox ac-15.
