Product Description

We've been working long and hard with Brad Paisley for a while... trying to come up with the overdrive that he's 100% happy with. Finally, after months and months we've got it!

Brad was wanting a pedal that could get very clean and yet get nice and crunchy with a bit of 'beef' to it, yet he wanted a fluid tone when soloing. Something that will add just a bit of 'hair' to the tone or can add flat out ball busting gain without wrecking the tonality... something that when he stepped on it gave the notes girth without sounding like a pedal.

The pedal LOVES strats and humbuckers as well. Many times you may have a pedal that sounds great with one guitar and utter crap with a different guitar. Not so with the Paisley Drive. You can get great greasy tones - you know, those blues tones that just drip with personality, dynamics, and inspiration.

It may, in fact, save the world. No, seriously. ;)

Enough of my rambling - click on the soundclips button and hear it for yourself. Then buy the pedal and you'll be the envy of all of your friends and your mother will love you for it.

Wampler Pedals: Paisley Drive with Les Paul and '59 Bassman clone (03:58)
http://www.wamplerpedals.comThe mighty Paisley Drive. There aren't too many vids around demoing it with a humbucker equipped guitar, so here's my attempt. I like what the Paisley does to humbuckers. It leaves the note definition there and refuses to fall into typical rawk territory. That's pretty cool and makes a nice change from your typical distortion/OD pedal. We must remember that this box was designed for and with Brad Paisley who more often than not uses single coiled axes, so they're going to have the advantage with this pedal, and I can tell you that from experience. But it works fine with humbuckers too, and I hope this little demo shows you how.The Les Paul is a 2009 Larry Corsa Peter Green Mod. The only original parts left on it is the frets and the wood. Everything else is as close as you'll get to Peter Green's old '59 without spending half a million or whatever it's worth nowadays. Larry bought up on the Fadeds which were the best sounding Les Pauls Gibson had made for years and turned them all into these. Now Gibson don't seem to have any more Fadeds to sell to Larry although they have released their own and some would say, inferior, version of Larry's work and R&D. Classy. More info? See: http://www.cvguitars.com/PGMod/By the way, the amp, which you cannot see, is a PTP '59 Bassman clone built for me by my friend Labros at Achillies Amplification here in Melbourne.
