  1. Ax Wax

This is way better then Fast Fret! You
can apply it from the head to the strap lock
of your guitar! I use it everywhere! Fret
boards, strings, tuners, back of the neck,
pickups, body, etc! Only thing is the bottle
cap. Cant pour the amount i want. But its
a great great stuff! Try it!

  2. Amazing all-in-one bottle of stuff

Posted by Jeremy Rozario on 18th Dec 2010

I initially bought this product as i have very
bad finger to string chemistry, and my GHS Fast Fret wasn't helping, and i was looking for a fingerboard conditioner to replace my Dunlop Lemon Oil, which for me wasnt working
    i)
As a stay in NSF, i'd play my guitars, wipe them down with *** fast fret and keep them in their cases for the week only to come back the following weekend to find that they still have rusted
Fast forward to the week after i got my bottle...
my strings still feel as fresh as they did when i strung them up last week, BUT with the same feel of fast fret, its a love/hate thing
    ii)
i have a 36 year old Morris acoustic and over the years of playage and abuse my fingerboard looked really dry and unsightly, and it looked almost like my guitar's days were numbered
after trying it on the strings, i rubbed it into the fingerboard, and to my delightful surprise, it helped a ton, the fingerboard now has a 1 toned color, instead of multiple colors, does a much better job of the dunlop lemon oil ive been using
    iii)
dunlop straploks go squeak *jam* squeak
    +
    AXWAX
    =
    nicely lubed :)

    Conclusion:

i've heard so much great stuff abt this...erm stuff and i've wanted to get a bottle for months, just kept forgetting, is it worth the $15?
    YES:
    - Good fingerboard conditioner/lube/string cleaner
    - All-in-One Package
    NO:
    - applicator is a bit big, having trouble pouring out the desired amount, usually pouring more than i need
    Cheers =)
